We are Alana and Arthur, a loving, joyful, and caring couple.

WE ARE SEEKING A LONG-TERM LIVE-IN POSITION of PROPERTY CARETAKERS, INNKEEPERS, and/or PERSONAL ASSISTANTS.

In us, you will have experienced, responsible and committed professionals making maximum efforts to serve your needs and provide you with peace of mind and security. We are health-minded, non-smokers, non-drinkers, drug-free, with clean driving records, very healthy and fit, love Nature and animals.

SKILLS: We will safely manage your home, inn, villa, lodge, or estate, and provide on-site security and care for your beloved animals. Our combined life experiences had given us the expertise in a wide range of abilities critical to managing a property: top-notch housekeeping, maintenance and administration, staff supervision (both employed and contracted), landscaping and groundskeeping in all seasons, organic and bio-dynamic gardening outdoors and in a greenhouse, healthy cooking, the security of the premises, dog care, care of fine arts, antiques, rugs, and valuables.

QUALITIES: Creative and intuitive problem solvers. Honest and friendly, we offer a solid work ethic based on a mature sense of responsibility, loyalty, and trust. Some of our valuable strengths: versatile, resourceful, self-motivated, and discreet, able to quickly learn new skills and handle new responsibilities, excellent time and space management. If we don’t know how to do something we learn very quickly, and we also know how to chose and hire a professional even on a weekend and holiday!

 

COMBINED SKILLS:

Plumbing: faucet repair, fixture repair, drain maintenance, shower-head maintenance, caulk repair

Wall maintenance: hole repair, priming, and painting

Window maintenance: inspection and basic repair

Floor maintenance: carpet, wood, tile, and linoleum cleaning and basic repair

Roof maintenance: gutter cleaning and basic repair

Moving and basic installations of appliances, furniture, light fixtures, and window fixtures

Locks, hinges, rods, door knobs repair and installation

Landscaping: grass mowing, leaf and snow clearing, weed and brush trimming, grounds maintenance

Computer maintenance, operation, networking, marketing, and social media skills

Property supervision, maintenance, security, and organization

Personal and travel scheduling, bookkeeping/accounting

Employee, vendors, and construction coordination

Event, vacation, and meal planning

Energetic clearing and balancing for the land, homes, and businesses to positively influence clients’ health, work, finances, and relationships

PREFERENCES:

We are seeking a long-term live-in position with separate housing/private quarters and income in the states of Colorado, New Mexico, or Oregon.

ABOUT US:

Alana has had experiences running a successful art and antique business with her late husband and managing the business on her own as a single mother raising two boys. Also, Alana has great experience in homesteading, having built one herself in the state of VA. In the past ten years, Alana has developed two very successful careers: a personal assistant and property manager, and a practitioner of healing arts.

Over two decades ago Arthur was a successful private High School teacher in the New York and New Jersey area. He pivoted his career path in the early 2000s, becoming an award-winning audio engineer and executive producer for a very profitable recording company and retreat center in central Virginia.

Since meeting Alana in 2011, he has pursued a very enjoyable career in property management from Virginia to Colorado and Washington, and most recently, Oregon. Two of their jobs had residential responsibilities combined with commercial businesses.
