Having come from a broken family who wasn’t close, I can say I’ve had little interest or awareness of extended family for most of my life. I just never knew the abundance of family love or closeness. My mom’s family is all on the other side of the US and my dad’s family I wasn’t very close to on account of divorce. Alana reminded me that family is inextricable from who we are and healing family is integral to healing ourselves. I deeply appreciate the opportunity to have guided focus in this intention and do my part to heal past and future generations by taking love and intention to places in my family tree that needed healing.
