Shortly after becoming acquainted with Alana my sister became gravely ill – she had multiple strokes and after the 4th stroke was temporarily on life-support, not expected to live long. Shortly after arriving to be with her, I had the ‘hit’ to ask my sister if she was open to Alana performing Death Rites – a beautiful ritual of Soul healing — which might facilitate her physical death. With Alana on the phone, and me holding space in my sister’s hospital room, Alana worked remotely and then shared with us where she traveled with my sister’s Soul (also providing a bit of a ‘tune-up’ for me since I was really out of my center).
I can’t describe the energetics – I can say that I watched my sister go from being very tense and agitated, uncomfortable in her physical form, to moving to a place of ease and comfort. Her breathing changed, and her whole Being settled into itself in a more cohesive fashion. I’d been alternating between feeling intense grief and trying to function with providers – finding it difficult to remain a source of support for my sister (energetically).
During the session, I ‘felt’ Alana’s touch as it smoothed out my distress – the fog, which had been clouding me for over a week, lifted and I felt almost euphoric in my love for my sister and the opportunity to share her journey with her. Both my sister and I anticipated that she would die during the night, but both of us were at peace with what WAS at that moment. Truly a beautiful experience!
But that wasn’t the end of the healing work! The next morning when I returned to the hospital I found my sister without oxygen, sitting up in bed, speaking clearly – she hadn’t been able to do so for a long time, coherently expressing what she wanted and didn’t want in terms of treatment!
Very determined that she was capable, to the point of insisting she wanted to get out of bed to go to the bathroom (even though she hadn’t been able to walk for weeks). Her vision improved and she was able to make eye contact. She regained strength in her right side and was able to move her hand, arm, and leg, all of which had been paralyzed due to the strokes. It was truly amazing and miraculous! We both spoke about the change, addressing our mutual belief that she was going to die and my sister said: “I guess it wasn’t my time yet!”
What I’ve observed since, beyond the physical improvements, which defied the doctor’s expectations, is that my sister has retained the peace and contentment within her soul. She has struggled with feeling victimized by life and circumstances, and all of that has been removed. The story of her journey isn’t mine to tell, but she did comment that where Alana described they traveled in their Soul flight tied back to her own childhood experience of being drawn to Orion’s Belt (something that Alana couldn’t have known).
I can’t highly recommend Alana enough – the service and healing she provided to both my sister and myself are beyond words! I’m incredibly indebted as my relationship with my sister is transformed, we have a bond but not a tie that keeps her earth-bound to me or visa versa. How long my sister chooses to remain is yet to be determined, but I do know that the shift in the quality of her inner life has enabled her to accept being bedridden as she recuperates from her strokes.
Take the Leap of Faith, you won’t be disappointed!
