Have you ever heard about the Akashic Records? They are currently making their way back into the public’s awareness. Some other names they are known by include The Book of Life, The Hall of Records, and The Universal Mind.
I first heard about them in 2003, when I came across this quote in Alice Bailey’s book, Light of the Soul :
“The Akashic record is like an immense photographic film, registering all the desires and Earth experiences of our planet. Those who perceive it will see pictured thereon:
1. The life experiences of every human being since time began,
2. The reactions to the experience of the entire animal kingdom,
3. The aggregation of the thought-forms of a karmic nature (based on desire) of every human unit throughout time. Herein lies the great deception of the records. Only a trained occultist can distinguish between actual experience and those astral pictures created by imagination and keen desire.”
So, supposedly, there is this massive cosmic library where everything that has ever existed, and that will ever exist, is stored: a gigantic memory bank, located outside the boundaries of time and space.
Wow, what can I learn about it?
Back then, I had a very interesting process of acquiring information: I would search high and low, find all that I could find out, and indiscriminately ingest all of that information to see if I felt there was any kernel of TRUTH in it.
If you can imagine, after devouring a lot of texts, books, and writings, I had to purge myself periodically. That was not a very pleasant process!
During my study I found:
– That Hindus claim that the Vedas and the language of Sanskrit were projections of the records from Akasha into the physical world.
– In Egypt, rare individuals who could read the Akashic Records were held in high regard. They became Pharaoh’s advisers and dream interpreters.
– Some priests in the Druid cultures of Ireland, Scotland, Wales, and England demonstrated the ability to access the Akasha.
– The priests of ancient Slavic cultures were able to read from the Book of Life after purifying their bodies for years on end for the purpose of healing and prophesy.
– There are mentions of the Akashic Records as the Book of Life in both the Old Testament and the New Testament of the Bible.
The idea that such a cosmic memory bank exists has fascinated me! What a perfect resource for a prophet or a seer!
So, if the Akashic Records are the data that, in theory, exists in a single place, in a non-physical reality, outside of time and space, is there any way I can access it?
Since the Akashic Library is supposedly a complete universal memory, it should possess the knowledge of the whole Universe, from the beginning of life to the very last future possibilities, right? How can I tap into this information, passing all boundaries and discovering all the things I wanted to know?
I couldn’t find my way in, and as the information on the Internet was not as widely available as it is now, I couldn’t find anyone who could either. I was left wanting.
Several years later, my interest piqued up again when I stumbled upon a few people who claimed they could read my Akashic Records. Needless to say, I was very excited (and gullible too), so I ordered the reading.
It was interesting. I was told I was someone famous and important, and I had a sense of satisfaction that lasted approximately two days. What can I say? I was young! LOL!
When my dopamine kick wore off, I wondered what could I do with that information. A few days later I doubted that it was even true.
I wondered if I ordered ten readings from ten different people – would I hear ten different things? For some reason, I thought I would, so I decided not to waste my money on things that have no practical use in my current life and get on with the present moment.
Fast-forward to the year 2011. Trained as a shaman, I was getting ready for a gathering of my peers to “Dream the New Earth into Existence”. I took it very seriously and sought to have my “slate wiped clean”, so I wouldn’t bring my old stuff into the dreaming of something new.
Mind you, at that point, I had done a tremendous amount of personal work: clearing my ancestral patterns, my karmic debris, my personal conditioning; detaching from my identity, my personality, the roles that I was playing…etc.
But I thought I needed to be squeaky clean (technical term) – that’s how serious I could get sometimes! LOL!
I found a psychic who cleared Soul Contracts. You may ask why did I trust her? Well, she was an animal communicator and she talked to my dog on my behalf during a very challenging time in our relationship. Yes, your dog can disagree with you! That conversation turned my relationship with my dog around, so, I trusted her.
The clearing session was very simple – or so it looked. The psychic accessed the Akashic Records, requested the presence of my Eternal Essence and my Spirit Guides, and asked me to repeat after her the petition to Null and Void all the negative and unintentional Soul Contracts, Oaths, Agreement, etc. that were hindering my progress. After the session, she advised me to rest and drink a lot of water. Not much to it, right?
I didn’t feel much during the session either, but in my mind’s eye, I saw a shelf full of books, scrolls, and folders, and a group of beings going through the papers very fast, piling many of them up in a funny wheelbarrow.
What happened in the next three months was nothing short of miraculous: every day I felt lighter and lighter physically, although the number on my bathroom scale didn’t budge. Emotionally I felt so incredible I was high without the use of drugs.
I wanted to sing and dance – and I did. I was able to eliminate a large debt that I still had because of the illness and death of my husband. I had an incredible experience of being one with the Universe during the Dreaming gathering with my fellow peers. But the most important effect for me was that I met my Soulmate, the love of my life.
The whole process was gentle and fast. Needless to say, I learned the skill of clearing the Soul Contracts and now I employ it in my work with my clients. So, while maybe it’s fun to read one’s Akashic records, I prefer to assist my clients to purge as many as we can, putting them into a funny wheelbarrow and dumping them into the fire.
Why? Because I’m a time-bender and a shortcut-finder ! I feel it is my privilege and honor to be able to assist people in their Soul evolution and I love to see them fly unburdened by the past!
In my next post, I’ll share about some negative, intentional, and unintentional Soul Contracts – it is a fascinating subject and will shed a lot of light on why we face certain challenges in our lives that simply won’t go away.
